We will work with mid firing range clay to make mugs, vases, bowls, etc, using the techniques of pinch, coil and slab.  You will make at least three pieces of work.   We will use leaves and plants pressed into the clay for our designs, as well as decorative rolling pins.  This class will also meet on a separate day (to be determined) at my home studio for glazing, once the pieces are dried and fired to bisque.

Supply cost is included in your class fee.  Please register early so I know how much supplies to buy. If you have clay supplies, you are welcome to bring your own.

You may wish to bring a turntable to work on, if you have one. Bring a bowl for water, and an old towel.  Bring a rolling pin, or a small roller, to press the leaves into clay.  You may also bring things to class that you think would make good impressions into clay, such as doilies, stamps, leaves, etc.  I will have lots of texture options available also.

Sign up early to secure your spot.  Max 12 students.
